Surgical Methods by Implant Placement
It can create a natural breast shape in athletes with well-developed pectoral muscles, moderate breast ptosis (sagging), obesity, etc., and has the advantage of being less affected by the movement of chest muscles.
In cases with very little breast tissue or a slim body type, the implant may be palpable (felt), and it requires careful post-op care due to a higher incidence of capsular contracture.
It avoids damage to blood vessels or nerves during surgery, and because the muscle covers the implant, the implant cannot be directly felt, resulting in a more natural appearance after surgery and a lower rate of capsular contracture.

This method involves making an incision of about 3 to 4 cm along the natural fold hidden beneath the breast.
Since the surgery is performed under direct visualization inside the breast, the procedure is convenient and allows for accurate dissection, leading to predictable, good results.
A scar remains along the inframammary fold line.
Recently, as intensive scar care has become possible, it has become a popular choice for many.
It is performed to achieve precise correction in cases of breast revision surgery or severe breast sagging.
This method involves making an incision of about 3 to 4 cm in the natural crease of the armpit and creating a pocket into which the implant is inserted.
Because the incision is made in the armpit crease, the scar is small and inconspicuous. It minimizes damage to blood vessels and nerves around the nipple, preserving nipple sensation well. The surgery time is short and relatively simple, allowing for a fast post-operative recovery.
The surgical field of view is somewhat limited, and dissecting all the way to the lower part of the breast is technically challenging.
Since the scar can be concealed within the armpit crease, this surgical method yields high satisfaction, especially among women who are sensitive to scarring, such as in Korea.
