Starting this coming May 20th, due to partial revisions to the National Health Insurance Act,

Identification verification has become mandatory at hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies. 

Even if it may be inconvenient, please make sure to bring it when you visit. 

Types of acceptable ID 

Resident registration card, passport, driver's license, and health insurance card are all accepted.

Exceptions 

Minors (under 19 years of age)

Returning patients (within 6 months)

Medical referrals and transfers

Emergency patients
