Non-incisional Ptosis Correction

The secret to an always clear and
vibrant eye shape!

By correcting the eye-opening muscles without incisions, sleepy-looking eyes
can be improved into a clear and vibrant eye shape.

Prologue

The symptom of opening the eyes using the strength of the forehead or eyebrows is called ptosis (blepharoptosis). Non-incisional ptosis correction is a surgical method that strengthens the eye-opening muscles without making an incision in the eyelid. It is suitable for mild to moderate ptosis and can be applied when the eyelid skin is thin or when the orbicularis oculi muscle directly beneath the eyelid skin is thin and light. Thick fatty tissue can be removed if necessary. Since the forehead or eyebrow muscles are not used, it becomes comfortable to open the eyes, improving them into a naturally defined look.

What if less than 80% of the dark pupil
is exposed when the eyes are fully open?

When the eyes are open and 80% or less of the dark pupil is visible, or when the pupil is exposed by only about 1 to 2 mm from the eyelid, it gives a sleepy and tired impression. Because the strength to open the eyes is insufficient, one frowns their forehead or raises their eyebrows to open their eyes, which looks unnatural.

How?

Non-incisional Ptosis Correction

How is the surgery performed?

By tying the middle part of the eye-opening muscle with thread and connecting it to the tarsal plate to shorten the length of the muscle, it can be improved into a vivid and defined eye shape.
As a non-incisional surgery performed through tiny pinholes without making an incision, there is minimal swelling and scarring, allowing for a quick recovery.
